The adoption of forest management certification by the CRG seeks to ensure that the products derived from our forest plantations come from well managed forests, offering social, environmental and economic benefits.
The standard NBR 14.790 is a series that brings some traceability requirements to ensure that the raw materials constituting the final product (pulp and paper) come from a certified forest plantation in accordance with the requirements of NBR 14.789.
NBR 14.789 brings together five Principles for conducting Forest Management focused on the pursuit of sustainability. These principles are broken down into criteria and indicators for the management of forest plantations and cover compliance with all environmental and labor legislation; the rational use of natural resources, zeal for biological diversity, control of environmental impacts, and efforts for the socio-economic development of the regions where the activity is carried out.
